FEATURED PENS FOR SALE

The featured pen for this website update is the Parker Moire series. Called "Pastels", or "Petites", this line was introduced around 1926, this series was offered in Naples Blue, Coral, Mauve, Magenta, Apple Green, and Grey Beige. This line was marketed to women of the late 20's and 30's with the fashionable color offering, to match the flashy times of the roaring twenties. Production dates can be marked by cap band arrangements, and the introuction of the streamlined models, along with Parker's ever popular Duofold series, but production was halted around 1932. The pastels are all button fillers, made of Parker's unbreakable Permanite. In 1928, these cost $3.50 for the pens, and $3.00 for the pencils.

We came across a nice selection of pens, representative of a old collection, that someone had a lot of time and effort to assemble. Rarely are pens from this series found in prime condition, we think this is selection represents a nice offering of highly collectable grade pens that anyone into assembling a series of Parkers would love to own.
